Series Title: ”Like Jesus”

Suggested Use: This message series was super fun. We played around with the whole Facebook vibe and asked our students the question: “What if Jesus tried to add you on facebook? Would you add Him as a friend, or would you need to Facebook Stalk Him a bit to see what He is about?”. We did this as a 3-week series.  Here is a sample series schedule you could use: 

WEEK #1: Who is Jesus Anyway? What does the Bible really say about Jesus? What does the Bible claim Jesus was/is?

WEEK: #2 What did Jesus have to say? What types of controversial things did Jesus talk about when He was here on this earth?

WEEK #3 What does Jesus have to do with me? How can Jesus really change my life as a teenager?

Series Title: ”Road Trip”

Suggested Use: We used this message series during the summer. Our team actually drove out to the Grand Canyon in an RV and brought along a student who shot video for us so we would have footage of the trip. We used the images of a road trip to symbolize the journey all of our students take as they grow as a Christian. You could use this series for one week or for the entire summer…it’s up to you!

Series Title: “The Middle”

Suggested Use: We used this message series to welcome our new 6th graders into our middle school ministry. We played with the concept that “all the best stuff is in the middle” (i.e. Oreo Cookies, Stuffed Crust Pizza, etc.). You can use this series to introduce students to the basics of your youth ministry, your purpose and how students can get connected. Here is a sample series schedule you could use: 

WEEK #1: “Welcome To The Middle” (talk about the purpose of your youth ministry and how students can begin to help get plugged into your youth ministry plan.) Possible Bible passages: Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 22:26-40)

WEEK: #2 “Get Connected In The Middle” (use this week to talk to students about the importance of getting connected with each other in small groups. Possible Bible passages: Hebrews 10:24-25

WEEK #3 “Get Serving In The Middle” (share with your students the importance of serving in your youth ministry. Give students opportunities to join current ministries in your church or start their own.) Possible Bible passages: Mark 10:45, Philippians 2:6-7
